The moon, the stars, a flickering light
Through clouded veil a beacon shines bright
So far from reach, a guide for the blind
Through falling snow, I recall the thought that I’d never see you again
Impending storm draws near; my eyes are blind to the tempest within
And into the wailing wind the candle’s flame will go out
Drawn forth by your gaze, by you enslaved
Embraced within shackles of snow
Softly snow’s falling, skies sullen
You’re calling me home
A vision deceiving my eyes
Forever fading away, my heart is led astray
Gray Mountain hear my cries
This cannot be my fate; I’m breaking from these chains

I didn't think I even liked power metal. Sacred Outcry is above and beyond any power metal I've heard all my life. Towers of Gold is a spectacular achievement with soaring vocals and hard hitting guitar riffs. This is a genre that's rife with excess and Towers of Gold is a back-to-basics guitar-centered dream
